It’s been a great summer! Although this past weekend marks the ending, I wanted to thanks to all the people that were there to cheers with me! I’m hoping for an Indian Summer filled with fall shopping trips.

La Fortuna, Costa Rica
The beauty of Costa Rica’s Mountain region is incredible. The Arenal Volcano, which is active, is visible around 60 days a year, so I feel very lucky to have caught a glimpse. The rainforest and its wildlife make this region come alive with excitement everyday.
There is an endless amount of great places to lounge and experience the endless adventure of the area. I stayed at The Springs Resort and it was nothing short of spectacular. The Springs had amazing food, service, activities and private areas to relax on your own. Literarily, the best all encompassing resort I’ve vacationed with by providing over 20 hot springs and it’s own adventure compound of white water kayaking, horse back riding, zoo, rock wall climbing, bird watching and much more.

Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
Manuel Antonio seats on the southern pacific coast of Costa Rica. This is where you can be one with the sea. Safe, affordable and walkable. If actual interactive with wildlife and all day beach outings is what your after, go to Manuel.
I stayed at Buena Vista Villas– this resort provides top service. The highlight of this estate was the staff. They were friendly, helpful and gave the best advice for what I wanted to do. I highly recommend using this hotel for the private beach and activities that are included with this venue, along with different pool options. Also note, the lobby staff is there until 10 p.m. and your villa grants you access to a 24hr concierge.

Lower East Side Gallery Outting
I checked out an edgy two-person exhibition, Dirty Words, featuring new works by Joe Nanashe and Michael Scoggins, in collaboration with Catinca Tabacaru Gallery.
The works were aesthetically pretty, especially all the framed pieces- the works seemed suspended in mid-air- and the content was definitely a conversation starter.
The presentation is from JUNE 25th – JULY 31st 2105- go check it out.
