The East Village Institution

I’d walked pass Frank Restaurant years before I stepped inside. Always noticing the white picket fence and thinking next time. Once I learned The Meatball Shop founders got there kitchen expertise at this place, I went.

Now, this is my default eatery for a mid-week meal for two. I’ve never make a reservation and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a table. There is no bad seat in this establishment because the food is amazing. I would stand and eat, to be honest. This is great Italian food just the way I like it, saucy.

Service: Attentive and you can sit for hours.

Food: Authentic and hearty.

DecorDark, romantic and rustic.

Beverage: Full Service bar.

New Wallet

I carry way to much items in my purse and my latest attempt to lessen the load was getting a new wallet.

I searched high and low, scrolled through a ton of websites and my choice was
Kate Spade Cedar Street Darla.

This compact wallet has room for my coffee card, credit card, small bills, coins, public transit passes and house keys.

Previously, I was carrying around a ton of store cards, but then realized cashiers can look up my account via my phone number and/or email address, so there was no need to get a larger wallet. For me it’s all about finding functionality and fashion and this product hit the mark.

Latest Read for the Month of July

The Dinner – can best be described as the European Gone Girl and I think with a better ending!

The story takes place throughout the course of a meal at a very exclusive restaurant. Two sets of parents must discuss the events that took place with their sons as well as how they plan to resolve what can only be described as extremely shocking behavior. This book draws you in with its great character development and before you know it, you are trying to decide what you would do.

My Lightest Gym Sneakers, Yet!

Being a commuter means toting around bags. Whatever I can do to lighten my load and shuffle effortlessly through the swarms of commuters, is extremely important.

My first step in taking the ease off my shoulders, began with purchasing new gym sneakers. It not necessary for me to lug around bulky sneakers, if I am not running major miles. The benefit to this decision, is that my road sneakers don’t get any added wear and tear.

Here is where Anthym comes in, I walked into this brand new athletic store in downtown State College and spotted ON sneakers. When I picked up theCloud, I knew that this was the shoe for me because it was less than 200 grams (less than 1/2 a pound).  ON is a Swiss brand features a series of styles and concentrations as well as Zero gravity foam cushioning.

So far, I have worked out in them doing elliptical work and high incline walking and medium paced jogging. They are comfortable and give my flat feet solid support. I am supper happy with my purchase and the color of shoes when I look down.
