About that snow….

It’s all true, everything people say about hitting the slopes out west. The runs are longer and the snow is like carving through gallons of slow churned ice cream. What east coasters should take pride in and give fellow riders a pat on the back for, is courage. The notion of barreling down a mountain face first isn’t that bad when your surrounded by two feet of fluffy snow to catch your fall, but it’s definitely more daring with varying degrees of ice. Try going west for the new gold, powder. It’s pretty, fun and ultimately the safer way to go.

P.S.  Renting equipment off the mountain can be a cheaper and a more efficient alternative than at the resort.
Tahoe Dave’s made it so much easier to get straight on the lifts.
