Atlantic City- Borgata Casino

In honor of a friend’s birthday, a group of friends headed to south shores of New Jersey for some gambling, dinning and clubbing fun.
We stayed at the Borgata Resort and Casino. The hotel is top notch with such great decor details. I had a great time and look forward to the next group trip where attempts will be made at more adventurous betting.

With no plans, I went traveling around nyc with my buddy. Our Journey began at Union Square park, with the intent to work our way uptown.

After doing some light shopping in the flatiron area, we stopped at
Eataly rooftop: La Birreria, for some cold drinks, cheese assortments and salads.

Next, we waddled our way over to East Village Social to sang some happy hour drinks. Upon our departure, we stumbled on this Art exhibit, in Tompkins Square Park.

The last stop, on our 10 mile walk, ended with white wine, assorted fresh breads and olives at a brand spanking new Lois. It felt great to sit. The food was very fresh and the aroma coming from the kitchen was out of this world, bread pudding and caramel. We were lucky enough to grab seats at the opened windows, which gave us a great view of the gorgeous ceiling and passersby.

New York is already exciting, but to then be walking along and see modern art in such an exposed manner, it’s quite thrilling.

I respect all the work and also the people who let the art remain. It’s such beautiful thing to see people observe the work as if they are in a museum, New York is surprising in that respect.

I was browsing through the beauty isle at Harmon, when I spotted these CoverGirl Glosstinis. The price for each was super affordable, under 3 bucks, and screamed summer, so it wasn’t a hard sell.

After a little research, I discover I picked up 3 out of the 4 limited-edition, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire polish shades. I was a big fan of the books and thought this was a cute coincidence.

I am super excited to showcase these vibrant colors along side my summer skin.

Several weeks ago on a whim, I went to Rockwood Music Hall and ended up seeing Justina Maria Soto. As I was walking to the venue, I found some of her music and got the sense that the show would be in the direction of smooth jazz vibes. Her voice and sound blew me away. The only way to describe the set is to say that it was a mix of Adele and Corrine Rae Bailey. I bought her CD and I’ve listened to the album while driving and getting my life together on a Saturday mornings. She has soul and it comes through in her music.

Ben Caron, who came on after Soto, deserves an honorable mention. This boy can sing too! He is based in LA and preforms with such passion. Check out his sound. The great thing about the venue is it’s free entrance fee. You enter order a drink or two and watch singer-song writers preform is an intimate setting.
