adventures of weekend explorations and internet scrolling

I’d walked pass Frank Restaurant years before I stepped inside. Always noticing the white picket fence and thinking next time. Once I learned The Meatball Shop founders got there kitchen expertise at this place, I went.
Now, this is my default eatery for a mid-week meal for two. I’ve never make a reservation and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a table. There is no bad seat in this establishment because the food is amazing. I would stand and eat, to be honest. This is great Italian food just the way I like it, saucy.
Service: Attentive and you can sit for hours.
Food: Authentic and hearty.Â
Decor:Â Dark, romantic and rustic.

My summer Friday lunch was spent at this East village eatery to die for!
I am a bag lady and they watched my bag up front, while I sampled the drink and lunch menu with my friends!
Service: Excellent
Food: Outstanding
Decor: Inviting and comfortable
Beverage: Classic options heightened by seasonal elements
With no plans, I went traveling around nyc with my buddy. Our Journey began at Union Square park, with the intent to work our way uptown.
After doing some light shopping in the flatiron area, we stopped at
Eataly rooftop: La Birreria, for some cold drinks, cheese assortments and salads.

Next, we waddled our way over to East Village Social to sang some happy hour drinks. Upon our departure, we stumbled on this Art exhibit, in Tompkins Square Park.

The last stop, on our 10 mile walk, ended with white wine, assorted fresh breads and olives at a brand spanking new Lois. It felt great to sit. The food was very fresh and the aroma coming from the kitchen was out of this world, bread pudding and caramel. We were lucky enough to grab seats at the opened windows, which gave us a great view of the gorgeous ceiling and passersby.
